Music Is Just the Beginning

At B-Music, kids don’t just take lessons. They join bands, write songs, record in a professional studio, release their music, and step onto real stages in front of real audiences.

Along the way, something bigger happens. They find their sound. They find their people. They learn to take risks, collaborate, perform, and trust their own ideas.

With professional musicians as mentors and a community that takes their creativity seriously, kids get to experience what it actually feels like to be a musician.

The music gets better. The confidence goes way beyond it.

Group of children and a musician in a music studio; children wearing headphones, one girl with a microphone stand, and a boy playing a guitar with music notes on a music stand.

B-Music started with a handful of private lessons and a simple idea: kids learn differently when music feels real.

We didn’t exactly plan this.

Before there was B-Music, Brandon Pierce was driving around Los Angeles teaching music lessons in students' homes.

One student became a few. A few became 30. Eventually, there weren't enough hours in the afternoon—or miles left to drive.

So Brandon and his parents, both longtime elementary school teachers, set out across LA looking for a space of his own … [learn more]
